To further the appreciation and preservation of the history and culture of Fairbanks
Goal:
To provide exhibits of the history and culture of the Fairbanks area that are educational, entertaining and enlightening for residents and visitors, with emphasis on school age children.
Purpose:
The Fairbanks Community Museum is organized for the following purposes:
- Dissemination of educational information through the display of historical and cultural items from the Fairbanks area - Preservation of historic items - Promoting appreciation of local, and Alaskan history - Revitalization of Fairbanks core area
