HONORING OUR HEROES: HEADSTONE CLEANING & PIZZA PARTY

NuVision, American Legion Jack Henry Post 1, and Elevated Oats are teaming up to honor our fallen heroes and we need YOUR help! Join us for a day of camaraderie, giving back, and paying tribute to the brave men and women who served our nation, followed by a well-deserved pizza party at Jack Henry Post 1.

MEET UP: Jack Henry Post 1 (9:00 AM) or Veterans Tract, Anchorage Memorial Cemetery (9:30 AM)

Bring your family and friends for a meaningful and rewarding day as we clean headstones and place flags, crosses, and pennies to show our respect. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach younger generations the importance of honoring and remembering those who fought for our freedom.

REFRESHMENTS: Enjoy delicious snacks and coffee provided by Veteran-owned Elevated Oats throughout the day.

PIZZA PARTY: After we've completed our mission, join us back at Jack Henry Post 1 for a well-deserved pizza party and drinks to celebrate our hard work and the memories of our heroes.

TOOLS: We'll have a limited supply of tools, so please bring your own if possible:
Gloves
Box cutters and carpet cutting tools
Pruning saws
Hand tools: trowels, pruners, cultivators
Clean spray bottles and water jugs
Scrub brushes and toothbrushes (natural or nylon bristles, NO plastic or metal)
Wooden sticks: paint stir sticks, chopsticks, popsicle sticks (for scraping debris from engravings)
