Don’t worry, though. There are plenty of excellent spots near the University of Alaska-Anchorage that serve food late into the night.
You wouldn’t know it from the name, but the Blue Fox Cocktail Lounge has a full menu of appetizers, burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, and baskets. Better yet, the kitchen is open until 1 a.m. The steak sandwich and bacon cheese burger are both awesome choices, blden ut it’s hard to go wrong with the halibut and chips basket.
Why not burn the midnight oil over coffee and doughnuts? Golden Donuts has many, many doughnut flavors and varieties of pastry to choose from, and they make a great cup of coffee, to boot. They also happen to be open 24 hours a day, so you can get your fix whenever you want.
Often, focus requires tacos. And Taco King is your hook-up in Anchorage. With authentic Mexican-style food and quick service, you won’t be disappointed. But don’t limit yourself to tacos: Warm your belly with a bowl of classic pozole. The location on Tudor is open until 10 p.m., but the one on Northern Lights will feed you until 11 p.m. (except Sundays).
Had a nice big dinner tonight as I won't eat again until after my follow up surgery tomorrow at 2pm. Nothing to eat or drink after midnight 😩 So I had 3 chicken tacos on corn tortillas WITH the luxury of rice and beans. I counted this meal as 22sp. Thank goodness for weeklies! #dinnerisserved #dinnerout #mexicanfoodjunkie #wwfooddiary #whatiate #tacosarelife #smartpoints #weightwatchers
