The view is one of the best and the Golf course is one of the farthest North that there is. Our hazards include such things as moose footprints and a local fox that steals your ball off of green number two. Experience a unique golfing excursion high in the mountains of Alaska!
Black Diamond Golf Course offers an unbelievable opportunity to truly golf at a different style course than anything you have ever experienced! Our rugged grass is challenging to say the least but is still designed so it is easy to walk or drive the course with a power cart. Some said we would never be able to grow grass at all. With the ground being frozen all year long, sometimes it is hard to even push your tee into the ground. The fairways are full of fun hazards and the greens are real grass but are hard to put on. The course was built in 1995 right on top of the Alaskan Tundra with little to no Top Soil! The surrounding mountains tower over your game and wildflowers spring up all over the wild course. Black Diamond is located right next to a serene mountain lake and wildlife abounds at the links-like 9 hole golf course.
