Mendenhall Golf Course is a 9 - hole Par 3 course with practice range located at the end of Industrial Blvd. , approximately ten miles from downtown Juneau. Fairways range in length from 111 yards to 191 yards and are native grass while the greens have been developed with creeping bentgrass.
The course is privately owned and operated by a pioneer Juneau family on a portion of the former Pederson Dairy. As a retirement project, the course was built and designed by Tom File and opened to the public in the spring of 1986. The average season is April 1st to October 1st, weather permitting.
