About Us:-

Tom Williams grew up on this Colony Dairy Farm in the Mid-late 1950's. As a Palmer High School student he learned about the Reindeer herders in Scandanavia and Siberia. Reindeer are a natural fit for the Alaska climate and are considered the "Cattle of the North". That long dream became reality in 1987 when Mr. Williams went to Canada for his first herd of Reindeer. As the herd has grown so has the farm. What started as a sign on the fence with a donation jar, has now turned into a Guided tour with a gift shop located in the original Colony Chicken coop!

Come join us for an hour or a day as we share our family farm and animals with you!

Tom Williams is still practicing law, making lots of hay on his Pt. Mackinzie farm, and caring for almost 200 animals!
